Harmony Meadows is thrilled to announce the launch of its catering business with the addition of Chef Tyler Ehlert. Chef Ehlert is a classically trained executive chef who has been in the industry for 26 years. His career began in Vancouver, B.C. at the Dubrulle French Culinary institute. Upon graduating he was recruited to Roy’s Restaurant in Hawaii Kai, Oahu. His career has taken him from restaurants to resorts and even into healthcare.

While Tyler has a lifelong passion for the culinary arts he also enjoys teaching, writing and simply talking about food.  Chef Tyler believes strongly that we need to spend more time in our own kitchens, cooking and preparing meals with good ingredients. The positive impact of healthy, home cooked meals on our family and friends can be astonishing.

Recently Chef Tyler was selected as one of only 16 executive chef’s in the country to take part in the CEIP (Culinary Enrichment & Innovation Program) hosted by the Culinary Institute of America. This amazing program focused on best practice, team building and culinary innovation at each of the 3 CIA campuses across the country (Hyde Park NY, San Antonio, Napa Valley).

In addition to managing Harmony Meadows in-house events, bed & breakfast and cooking classes, his services are available to other events and venues in the valley. Tyler is married to his wonderful wife Devon and has 4 children. Connor -21, Gabriel -10, Sam & Izzy -6. Tyler & family love the Lake Chelan area, the small town feel and the wonderful people.
